Dr. Paul Harwood Headlines Ad Club Bangalore’s 8th Inspiration Room

The Ad Club Bangalore’s Inspiration Room reached a significant milestone with its 8th edition, featuring Dr. Paul Harwood, an international behavioural scientist and co-founder of Useristics. Held at Adda 1522 in Cambridge Layout, the event provided an engaging exploration of the intersection of behavioural science, technology, and advertising, offering invaluable insights to the marketing and creative communities.

Dr. Harwood, who brings over 20 years of experience working with global leaders like Facebook, Twitter, Google, and Slack, shared his expertise in user behaviour and market research. The session, moderated by Smitha Hemingae, Head of Marketing and Employee Brand at ANSR, focused on how brands can leverage behavioural science to create effective advertising campaigns and personalized experiences for digital-first consumers.

Dr. Harwood emphasized the growing importance of understanding audience behaviour, particularly for startups looking to enhance their user insights. He also addressed the transformative impact of AI on marketing, stating, “Technology is evolving rapidly, often outpacing our understanding of its implications. It’s crucial to define how AI will be used in marketing and address the reservations surrounding it.”

The discussion also highlighted Bangalore’s role as a key tech hub driving innovation, with the city playing an essential part in shaping future advertising strategies.

Since its launch in May 2024, the Inspiration Room has become a regular gathering for Bangalore’s creative community, providing a platform for thought leaders to share their expertise.
